Teachers are dedicated to continuing & completing the potty training process. We also focus on fostering independence & self-help skills in preparation for Preschool & PreK. Lesson plans capitalize on basic skills in order to assess individual needs, capitalize on strengths, & provide support where needed through hands-on experiences & carefully planned activities.
We also value the importance of parent-teacher communication! The Step-Up room uses daily reports and communication tools to enhance your parent-teacher relationships! We want you to feel at ease when sending your precious child.
Our center follows the PA Early Learning Standards for developmentally appropriate lessons and activities!
Skills Your Child Will Practice:
Recognizing first and last names
Recognizing letters
Counting and recognizing numbers
Shape recognition
Practicing Patterns
Strengthening fine and gross motor skills (Fine Motor: hand, fingers, & wrists Gross Motor: large muscles)

Self-help skills such as zippering, buttoning, pouring drinks, and serving themselves
