Frequently Asked Questions:
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, there is a non-refundable $50 fee per child. For those who are enrolling more than 2 children, the fee is capped at $100
How long can my child stay each day?
Rates are based on a 10-hour day. If a child attends more than a 10-hr day, there is an additional charge of $20 an hour
Is there a minimum amount of days that I have to enroll?
Yes, we have a 3-day minimum
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept Check or money order payable to LVLC
Is there any type of tuition assistance?
We work with the Early Learning Resource Center of Westmoreland County. This subsidized childcare program helps low-income families pay their childcare fees. The state and federal governments fund this program, which is managed by the ELRC. Click Here to read more about their assistance with tuition & how to apply!
Are there any discounts?
Yes!
10% discount to families with multiple children enrolled full time

Are meals and/or formula provided?
Yes!
Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided. We also provide milk. Please indicate at time of registration if your child/children have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Formula: We provide Member's Mark brand formula for the infants.
Can my child still pack meals?
Yes, meals from home are permitted. We do encourage healthy meals; children will be offered our meals as well in case they want to try something new.
Are diapers, wipes, and pull-ups provided?
No, diapers wipes, and pull-ups are not provided. Please be sure to clearly initial both the wipe container, and each individual diaper so that the staff can keep them separated.
Do children go outside?
Yes, we go outside daily weather permitting. We follow DHS regulations. (Temperature/wind chill above 25 degrees and Temperature/heat index less than 90 degrees)
How to enroll & what can I expect:
1. Fill out our Private Pay Application and either return it by email, mail it, or drop it off at our locations! You can also receive one by mail or stop by our Latrobe location.
2. After we receive your Application, our office administration will contact you within 5-7 business days to complete the enrollment packet to complete registration.
3. Once all registration items have been returned, the office administration will give you a start date.

Learning & Classroom Environment
Our center follows the PA Early Learning Standards for developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
The ECERS is a classroom assessment tool designed to measure the quality of group programs by collecting data through classroom observations and classroom environment.
